Motion Reflection
In the beginning of the unit I knew nothing about motion. Then as we started to read about the lesson, conduct activities and create mindmaps it made me learn a lot faster than normal. When I think of motion I think of speed (distance divided by time), velocity which is the speed and direction then acceleration, the rate of which velocity changes. Then to know if this object is in motion I think of a reference point which is usually stationary like a table or a tree. If the object moved from the reference point then it is in motion. I learned how to graph motion and acceleration which is very beneficial. For speed my class learned how to find the average speed and we also learned about instantaneous speed which means the rate of an object when it is moving at a given time; like a cyclist. Overall I have learned a lot about motion considering I knew nothing at the start.
