The Great Dress-Color Debate of 2015

The dress that freaked out the internet, the one that even caused fights and arguments, actually had a scientific explanation. Some people saw it as white and gold, some blue and black. But the actual color was black and blue. Sow how can this happen? When the eyes receive light, the eye processes the image but the brain processes the meaning of the image, and tries to make sense of it. When we don't receive enough info, our brain often jumps to conclusions, as you can see in optical illusions. People who payed less attention to the blue background light saw the dress as white and gold. People who payed less attention to the white and yellow light saw the dress as black and blue, and vice versa.

  1. I liked your intro and how you described the impact of the dress on people, but I think you should of added where from the text you got your supporting text. But other than that a good post.

  2. I like how you used the brain jumping to conclusions and optical illusions to help your point. I also liked how you used how much people pay attention to backgrounds or not. But at the end the vice versa was really not needed because of the sentence before it, but overall it was a good post.
