"It's black and blue, I swear!"
"No! It's not! It's white and gold!"
This debate has been going on for quite a while now because of a picture that has been spread around, thanks to the wonderful internet. I had heard about this dress, and one day, my friend sent me a picture of the dress via WhatsApp, asking me what color the dress was. The answer was obvious to me; "Black and Blue" I replied. "Although other people see it as white and gold or something" I went out later and she even asked her brothers what colors they saw. It was a debate of Blue and Black, White and Gold, "A disgusting green" and white was also an answer.
"Scientists explained different people saw different colors because of the different ways our brains analyze the information it gets from our eyes." After learning about the brain and the eye in class, I thought about the photoreceptor cells we have in our eyes. Maybe that had a role in why people saw white and gold or black and blue. There was even a theory that if you saw black and blue, that you were depressed. "When the brain does not have enough information, it interprets the image and makes guesses." This is also something we discussed in class. If our eye cannot see everything, our brain interprets what else could be in the picture. Truly, neither sides of the argument is right or wrong, because it's just what our eye sees. But if you ask me, everyone should just listen to Maryam because she's always right because she saw black and blue. :)

I liked the way you summarized the article in a logical and funny way! And I see black and blue as well...
